FCA offers instructional and educational services throughout the school year, which is currently from July to April. The curriculum followed is the K-12 Basic Education Curriculum, utilizing textbooks from the USA, as well as those from local Philippine publishers. FCA focuses on building academic excellence and character, believing that the kind of people our children become is more important than how academically smart they are. Holistic development of the child is necessary for future success. Here at FCA, we believe in giving children the opportunity to excel in music, arts, sports, and public speaking.
Tutorial services are available all-year round. Parents may inquire at the admin office to avail of this extra service for their child, FCA does its best to match up students needing extra help with tutors who are passionate to help them learn and keep up with class activities.
FCA believes in teaching Art hands-on. Art lessons are offered in an exclusive partnership with Pencils Up Creative Learning Center, an arts studio with skilled and passionate instructors who believe in focusing on the process of art, not just on the output. Students learn sketching, painting with acrylics on canvas, and using other medium of art. Note: Individualized art lessons may also be pursued by students at the studio at their standard studio price. Visit them at www.facebook.com/pencilsup
Music lessons are taught hands-on. Currently, the classes offered to students in Grades 2-10 are: basic guitar, keyboard, voice, and drums. Students must provide their own instruments (unless available at FCA), and clearbooks for the music sheets.
FCA’s PE instructors exert much time and effort into preparing a program that helps to keep children physically active and fit. PE classes include basic exercises and stretching, as well as kickboxing, mixed martial arts, self-defense techniques, integrated with fun activities like hiking, camping, and learning first aid practices and basic survival skills.
FCA offers busing services for students. There are currently two (2) buses. This service is offered based on available student slots/seats. Forms may be obtained from the admin office. Monthly bus service costs are based on the distance of the student’s pick-up and drop-off location from the school.
